Our Open Evenings are the ideal introduction for anyone considering full-time dance and performance training. Come and explore our facilities, meet our team, and learn exactly how to move towards a career in the performing arts — all in a relaxed, no-pressure setting.

Open Evening Dates

  • Saturday 17 October 2026 – 6:00pm
  • Saturday 28 November 2026 – 6:00pm

What to Expect at Our Open Evening
Each Open Evening lasts around one hour and includes:

  • A 30-minute guided tour of our state-of-the-art studios and performance spaces
  • A 30-minute presentation from Artistic Director George Hill, covering the course, curriculum, funding, and audition process
  • A live Q&A with staff and current students, so you can ask honest questions about life and training at BDC

There’s no practical class on the night, so you can focus entirely on getting to know the college and your questions answered.

BDC Autumn Intensive | Fri 30 Oct – Sun 1 Nov 2026 

Step into life at Bath Dance College with our 3-day October Course — a hands-on taste of our renowned Foundation Course and the ideal introduction for prospective students.

Over three inspiring days, you’ll take part in nine dynamic workshops spanning Ballet, Contemporary, Commercial Jazz, and Musical Theatre. Each session is led by our resident staff alongside visiting guest teachers, giving you a genuine feel for the training, energy, and community that make BDC special.

Whether you’re preparing to audition or simply want to experience professional dance training first-hand, this course is a must for any aspiring dancer.

Suitable for dancers aged 12+ with previous dance experience.
